Frequently Asked Questions

We stay overnight in Sydney, why is that?

The flight to Bangkok from Sydney departs a 10:30 am on the 18th, so fly tour participants from New Zealand & participants from Australian locations other than Sydney, into Sydney the night before. We stay close to the airport but just far enough away that we can get a meal & a few drinks without paying airport prices.

I would like to extend my stay in Thailand, is that possible?

Yes we can arrange for you to fly home at a later date.

Is it possible to just come for the MotoGP section of the tour?

Yes we can shorten the package by taking off the 2 nights in Bangkok at the end, or we have a 4 night option with the flights from Bangkok to Buriram included, but it would be a shame to go all that way and not see the sites of Bangkok.

You are flying between Bangkok & Buriram, isn't it just a bus ride away?

From experience the bus journey from Bangkok to Buriram, depending on the traffic, can take up to seven hours.

I would rather arrange my own way to Bangkok, do you have a package?

Yes we have a night  option where you meet us at  Don Mueang Airport (DMK)  for the flight to Buriram and then also make your own way after we arrive back in Bangkok (note Bangkok has two airports so please contact us to discuss your other arrangements)

What are "Sidestand" Tickets?

There are 4 undercover grandstands spaced around the track that we have unreserved access to, this means that over the 3 days we can watch from different sections of the track.

Can we upgrade our "Sidestand" tickets?

Yes there is upgrades available to the main grandstand, the Marques stand, the Rossi stand & a MotoGP Paddock option.

Why we love the Thailand MotoGP and Buriram

Most people who visit this beautiful and enchanting South East Asian country with its fantastic food, tropical climate and distinctive local culture, leave Thailand wishing they could stay longer!

Thailand has become a magnet for tourists from around the world, many of whom flock to the country’s famously frenetic capital city of Bangkok where we will be staying for 3 nights on this tour.

The Buriram area is one of the North-Eastern provinces of Thailand, while the town of Buriram has approximately 30,000 inhabitants and sits 400km (a five to seven hour drive) to the northeast of Bangkok.

Visitors can expect to enjoy a warm welcome from the enthusiastic and friendly locals, and an ever-increasing passion for the motorcycle racing evident.

From the moment you enter the track you can see that this event is different, from the brightly coloured farm trucks, vintage in some cases, with their rotary hoe motors used to ferry race goers between the stands, to the many reasonably priced (cheap) food and drink stalls & smiling locals, this race is fun.

The tracks design means that you can watch and follow riders around nearly the entire track from any of the stands and the option of been able to use the four sidestands is a great idea so you can watch from different spots around the track over the 3 days.

Watching MotoGP on the television is one thing but there is nothing like experiencing the sights, sounds and smells of a MotoGP  event first hand.

About Us

Oue aim is to make it possible

The original Isle of Man TT tour came about after a mate mentioned to Paul that he wanted to "tick the TT off his bucket list"  & it had to be affordable or the misses wouldn't let him go.  As a result an itinerary  was created with the aim of keeping it affordable & great value for money.

The Isle of Man TT Tours have been taking passengers from Australian & New Zealand since 2013 with a number of repeat travelers traveling on up to 4 of our tours.

2018 & 2019 saw us run tours to the "Classic" TT  & the Thai MotoGP & we will be running both again in 2020.

So if you want to tick the TT off your bucket list or catch the Thai MotoGP contact T.T.S.Tours.
